This is a collection of marinades; simply isn’t summer without using them often for grilling!
Terrific on beef or chicken
1 c. catsup
1/2 c. vinegar
4 tsp. prepared mustard
5 shakes Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 c. salad oil
dash of garlic salt
Mix well in with whisk or blender.
Pour over meat of your choice,
cover and refrigerate for 6-8 hours,
or overnight (less if marinating tender meats).
Grill depending on cut/type of meat.
This sauce will keep indefinitely if refrigerated.
Wonderful on chicken and salmon
2/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup dark rum (do not substitute light rum)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Mix well with whisk. Marinate at least one hour before cooking.
4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 crushed garlic clove
Mix all ingredients and marinate salmon for at least one hour before cooking.
1/4 cup Bourbon
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Mix all ingredients and marinate for at least one hour before cooking.
