White Peach Sangria

White wine and peaches make a wonderful summer sangria

I’ve often had Sangria made with red wine and not that it isn’t good, but my consumption of red wine seems to be limited to the winter; I find a white sangria more appealing in the summer too. A perfect drink for barbecues; it’s a luscious mix of peaches, oranges, apples, brandy and white wine.

White Peach Sangria

A great summer sangria with white wine and fresh peaches
Ingredients
  • 1 bottle white wine (Spanish table wine)
  • 3 ounces brandy
  • 2 ounces triple sec
  • ½ cup orange/pineapple concentrate
  • 1 and ½ cups water
  • 2 ounces simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water brought to a boil for 2 minutes in a small saucepan) and cooled (leftover syrup can be stored in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator
  • for 1 month)
  • 3 ounces peach puree (peel peaches, remove pit and puree in a blender with a small amount of water)
  • Fresh peaches, oranges, and apples sliced

Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a pitcher and stir to mix. Refrigerate at least 8 hours or up to 48 hours. Serve over ice.

Notes
Preparation time does not include the time you allow it to meld in the refrigerator from 8-24 hours.
