Gold Brick Sundae Topping


This is a homemade version of a product that was a favorite of mine as a young girl. Serve over ice cream and it hardens to form a crunchy shell.

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups chocolate chips
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup chopped pecans

DIRECTIONS:
Combine butter, chocolate chips and evaporated milk in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Cook and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and fold in nuts. Serve warm over ice cream.
